2008: International Year of the Reef

In case you haven't heard, 2008 has been designated "International Year of the Reef." This designation has been given to call attention to the serious problems coral reefs around the world face. At Aquatic Adventures, we want to give you a chance to help by participating in these important events:
  • Project AWARE and AWARE Coral Reef Conservation specialties. Learn more on April 5 about what you can do as a diver and as a citizen of the world to improve our aquatic resources. See our Project AWARE web page for details. Cost for both PADI specialties is $70.
     
  • Pool Dive for Project AWARE. Join us at the UW-Milwaukee Klotsche Center on April 6. This is a great opportunity to brush up on those dive skills that are getting rusty over the winter. Cost of the pool dive is $20. All profits will go to Project AWARE. Learn more >>

Digital Underwater Photography - Starts March 24

Aquatic Adventures is pleased to have Dianne Morris, world traveler, accomplished underwater photographer and PADI Divemaster, as a guest speaker during our PADI Digital UW Photo class this spring. Dianne's photos are currently on exhibit at Marquette University and Aquatic Adventures. This is an excellent opportunity to learn underwater photography from an incredibly accomplished photographer who learned the trade from the biggest names in underwater photography. Learn more >>

Sign up for class...Get free stufff

PADI Diving Society Members or prospective members, we have classes for you. Take advantage of your membership by signing up for the specialty of the month and getting a free gift. Details are available on the Diving Society website. All you need to do is pay for your class at Aquatic Adventures during the month listed below. Then turn in your invoice for your free gift.
