Kim Galeener from PADI announced today that Aquatic Adventures, Inc. was awarded the prestigious National Geographic Dive Center Award. The National Geographic Dive Center Award is given to progressive PADI 5 Star Dive Centers and Gold Palm Resorts that excel in providing National Geographic diver education programs, equipment selection, and experience opportunities, and that actively promote the benefits of environmental awareness.

"We are honored to accept this award and very proud of the hard work of our staff in achieving this distinction," said Jerry Otte, AAI Director of Training. "We are also very excited about the new National Geographic training programs that will now be able to offer our customers.

Aquatic Adventures customers will now be able to become National Geographic Divers by enrolling and completing the National Geographic Diver program or by enrolling in the National Geographic Portal program. National Geographic Divers must complete knowledge development training using the National Geographic Diver Almanac and DVD, demonstrate superior buoyancy skills in open water, complete an exploration project, and demonstrate either navigational skills or familiarity with marine life.
