Pearl Lake, South Beloit, Illinois. Open Water Dives 1-4. An entry fee will be collected each day by Pearl Lake Club. Students must bring full scuba kit with them for these dives.
 

Important note: This schedule is subject to change. Always confirm confined water and open water locations and times in advance.
 

UWM RENTAL POLICY: Students will be issued equipment for confined water and open water dives. That equipment may be used only by that student and only for purposes of scuba training in this course. Use for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. Any student found in violation of this policy will be expelled from class and all course fees will be forfeited.eited.

During the time of rental, students are responsible for the proper care of the rented gear as outlined in the PADI Open Water Diver manual. Students will be charged for any damage to equipment that is the result of negligence, including exposure to heat or cold. Students will also be charged for the return of equipment that has not been properly rinsed following open water training.

All rental equipment is due back to Aquatic Adventures, Inc. by 7:00 p.m. on the next business day following the final day of confined water training or by 2:00 p.m. on the final day of open water training. Students who pick up equipment and then fail to show up for a confined water or open water training dive must return their gear by 7:00 p.m. on the next business day. Any student who fails to return gear at the appropriate time will be charged the standard rental charge for each day the equipment is late. No certifications or university grades will be issued to students who fail to return their gear or have outstanding balances with Aquatic Adventures, Inc. that are the result of late returns or damage due to negligence. Equipment that is not returned within 3 business days of the return date will be considered stolen and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

CERTIFICATION: Open water training is NOT part of the Skin & Scuba program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students who wish to receive a PADI certification must attend four open water dives. A $36 certification fee will be collected from UWM students when they register for the open water dives to cover administrative fees. This fee is non-refundable. Students who fail to show up for an open water dive will need to pay an additional $36 to register for another day. However, the standard life-support equipment rental package fee is provided free of charge as a courtesy to UWM Skin & Scuba students attending open water training. Personal gear, entries fees, and any other items that are not provided in the standard Aquatic Adventures Open Water Diver course are the responsibility of all students attending open water dives.

UWM POLICIES AND FEES: All University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee students are required to familiarize themselves with the schedules, policies, and fees associated with scuba training by reading through the material provided at http://uwm.dive-aai.com. Aquatic Adventures will not be responsible for any inconveniences or issues arising from students claiming to be unfamiliar with the material provided for their benefit on this website.
