UWM Klotsche Center. Use of scuba equipment
- confined water dive.
Important note: This schedule is subject to change. Always confirm
confined water and open water locations and times in advance.
UWM RENTAL POLICY: Students will be
issued equipment for confined water and open water dives. That equipment may be
used only by that student and only for purposes of scuba training in this
course. Use for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. Any student found in
violation of this policy will be expelled from class and all course fees will be
forfeited.
During the time of
rental, students are responsible for the proper care of the rented gear as
outlined in the PADI Open Water Diver manual. Students will be charged
for any damage to equipment that is the result of negligence, including exposure
to heat or cold. Students will also be charged for the return of equipment that
has not been properly rinsed following open water training.
All rental equipment is
due back to Aquatic Adventures, Inc. by 7:00 p.m. on the next business following
the final day of confined water training or open water training. Students who
pick up equipment and then fail to show up for a confined water or open water
training dive must return their gear by 7:00 p.m. on the next business day. Any
student who fails to return gear at the appropriate time will be charged the
standard rental charge for each day the equipment is late. No certifications or
university grades will be issued to students who fails to return their gear or
have outstanding balances with Aquatic Adventures, Inc. that are the result of
late returns or damage due to negligence. Equipment that is not returned within
3 business days of the return date will be considered stolen and will be
reported to the appropriate authorities.
